About Joanne

Welcome to my website! I have been involved in Holistic Health and Healing for 30 years and at present have a full time practice in Southbourne, Bournemouth, UK. I offer in person and online sessions via Zoom.

My Bowen journey started in 1994 when I attended one of the first ever 4 day seminars with Ossie and Elaine Rentsch when they first came over from Australia. It was such a profound experience that I have been working with it ever since.
 Bowen is amazing for pain relief, re-aligning the body as well as releasing  emotional blocks. In 1997 Ossie Rentsch invited me to teach and become a Bowen instructor.

I was one of the founders of the Bowen Association UK in 1997.

Bowen therapy has enabled me to travel widely to Europe, South Africa, Israel, Turkey, UAE and throughout Britain teaching the Bowen Technique and my other ‘Energy’ based workshops.

My unique Golden Light Healing was born out of response to clients desires to connect more deeply with themselves and shift consciousness.

Working with a variety of Flower Essences is another powerful vibrational tool that helps break patterns and enable clients to move forward.

Since a child , I have been sensitive to energy and the unseen world. So it became natural during my healing career to open up to the spiritual realm. This extra level of intuitive awareness has assisted me greatly when information flows in about clients, their blocks, health and life.

Over the years I have attended many health, healing, spiritual & personal development workshops and courses and studied at the world renowned Arthur findley college.

This has allowed me to access deeper levels of Soul to Soul connection as well as offering spirit led Soul readings.

I have worked with the Tarot cards for over 20 years and love their energy and depth of wisdom. I may bring the messages of the cards into readings as guided.

I came to see Joanne as I wanted change in my life and I didn't know what or how to go about it. I could not understand this feeling I had. I had a back operation 25 years ago. It did not work and I was left in constant terrible pain that got worse over the years. At times I was suicidal and had tried every treatment, medical and alternative. After one bowen treatment, when Joanne released my hamstrings, the pain actually disappeared for the first time. I was stunned. I had a few more treatments and now have maintenance every 6 months. Most importantly I have a life again and can go fishing.
